Quick summary
Normal quests are the quick half of the quest system. You take one from a local NPC, kill the named monsters, and hand it back to the same NPC. The reward is experience and an item.
Open the quest list with the Quest button in the top right corner or the Q hotkey. Tick the checkbox for a quest list to bring up the Quest Notice UI, which shows the target and how much you still need. To find the monster, open the Quest tab in the World Map with the comma hotkey and click a quest in your list. The monster's location then shows on the map.
The repeatable half of the system is different. Those come from Jade in the Hondel Region and can be stacked, and there is a separate daily quest from Noynir. Both are already covered on this board.
The regions, in order
The reward rises by orders of magnitude rather than steadily. These are steps straight from the official list:
The reward items
The reward column repeats a small set of items. Medicine is the common one, and the strength tracks the region: Small Medicine early, then Medium and Large Medicine, then the Doggebi variants once you reach the higher bands. Alongside it you see Magic Scrolls back to the nearest town, Lesser and Strange Stone of EXP items, New comer's Scroll of Rebirth, and Artisan's Fixing Tool and Stone of Revision at the top bands. A few quests pay equipment instead, such as a Ring at level 5, a necklace at level 20, a Pickax at level 29 and a Trinket at level 24.
