Kal Online guild flags: the registration rules, the six prefixed flags, and the bearer penalties

A guild flag is a carryable item that gives a buff to the guild. The official guide covers how a mark is registered, what the flag bearer gives up, and the six prefixed flags you can buy.

Making a flag

The mark is registered with the NPC flag manager and then equipped with the flag. A Build Member can create a Build's Flag.

A flag is built from three positions: the kind of mark, the ground color and the girth color. You pick 10 colors for the ground and the girth each, and one shape from 20 kinds of shapes.

The costs and the gates

Registering a mark needs level 3 or higher, the Sub-Leader rank, 500,000 geon and a Build Mark. Buying a flag needs a registered Guild Mark and 12,000 geon.

The bearer can be any guild member in a guild of level 3 or above.

What the bearer gives up

The flag is destroyed when the guild is dismissed or the bearer leaves. It cannot be dropped on the ground, and it can only be traded to members of the same guild. If the bearer dies carrying it, the flag is destroyed.

The bearer takes correction values that depend on the flag type. Those values cannot be buffed, movement buff included, and the bearer cannot transform into an ancient animal. The flag buff only reaches members of the same guild.

The six prefixed flags

The guild leader buys prefixed flags from the flag store. The page lists six.
  • Flag of Speed. Movement speed 150 percent. Correction values HP 100 percent, attack 50 percent, speed 150 percent.
  • Flag of Struggle. Attacking skill 20 percent. Correction values HP 200 percent, attack 50 percent, speed 80 percent.
  • Flag of Magic. Magical attacking skill 20 percent. Correction values HP 200 percent, attack 50 percent, speed 80 percent.
  • Flag of Defense. Absorption 30. Correction values HP 200 percent, attack 50 percent, speed 80 percent.
  • Flag of Intelligence. Resistance to magical attack 30. Correction values HP 200 percent, attack 50 percent, speed 80 percent.
  • Flag of Impregnableness. Heals 100 in 1 second. Correction values HP 200 percent, attack 50 percent, speed 80 percent.
Where it matters

The page states the flag range has effect on Castle Siege and that the applied range is limited. A guild that runs sieges is the one that gets value from a flag, and the bearer penalties are the part that catches people out.
