Quick summary

A Kal Online guild starts at rating 1 and can climb to rating 10. Each rating raises the member capacity and unlocks a permanent buff that scales up with the tier. The rating bands also gate features: the guild naming system opens at rating 2, the flag system at rating 3, and Castle Siege plus territory occupation plus alliances at rating 4. Below the minimum member count for a rating the guild loses those features until it refills. Guild Raid is a separate boss fight that runs on donated resources and resets to level 0 on a successful summon.

Creating a guild

The GameAgit guild guide gives the creation conditions:
  • Apply through the NPC Administrative Bureaucrats or through the Guild Window (the Guild button in the upper UI, then the Create Guild button).
  • Cost: 100,000 Zamogeon.
  • Leader requirement: level 30 or higher.
  • Guild name limit: 7 Korean characters or 14 English characters.
  • You can also search for a guild from the Guild Window's Guild Rank tab, and partial names return similar results.
Guild points and how the rating moves
  • Levels 1 to 19 earn 1 guild point per level up.
  • From level 20 the points are accumulated as your level minus 10. The guide's own example: reaching level 34 accumulates 24 guild points.
  • Staying connected earns 10 points per hour, with a total earning cap of 2 billion.
The ten rating tiers

The guide's table gives a capacity and an authority column per rating:
  • Rating 1: 12 capacity, no authority, the state immediately after creation.
  • Rating 2: 26 capacity, guild naming system.
  • Rating 3: 40 capacity, guild flag system.
  • Rating 4: 54 capacity, Castle Siege declaration, territory occupation and alliances.
  • Rating 5: 70 capacity.
  • Rating 6: 90 capacity.
  • Rating 7: 110 capacity.
  • Rating 8: 130 capacity.
  • Rating 9: 130 capacity.
  • Rating 10: 130 capacity.
Maximum temporary members is 10 regardless of rating. The guide notes the requirements may change on a planned schedule, so treat the numbers as the current published set rather than permanent.

The buff table

The guide prints a buff row for every rating. Physical and magical attack rise together, hit points and HP rise together, and experience rises in steps:
  • Rating 1: Physical Attack +15, Magical Attack +15, Hit Point +30, HP +100, EXP +1%.
  • Rating 2: Physical +30, Magical +30, Hit Point +60, HP +200, EXP +1%.
  • Rating 3: Physical +45, Magical +45, Hit Point +90, HP +300, EXP +2%.
  • Rating 4: Physical +60, Magical +60, Hit Point +120, HP +400, EXP +2%.
  • Rating 5: Physical +75, Magical +75, Hit Point +150, HP +500, EXP +3%.
  • Rating 6: Physical +90, Magical +90, Hit Point +180, HP +600, EXP +3%.
  • Rating 7: Physical +105, Magical +105, Hit Point +210, HP +700, EXP +4%.
  • Rating 8: Physical +120, Magical +120, Hit Point +240, HP +800, EXP +4%.
  • Rating 9: Physical +135, Magical +135, Hit Point +270, HP +900, EXP +5%.
  • Rating 10: Physical +150, Magical +150, Hit Point +300, HP +1000, EXP +5%.
The buff applies from the moment you join the guild, and the daily Zamogeon box is paid once per day regardless of level.

Minimum members and the penalty for dropping below

The guide separates the capacity number from the minimum the guild must hold:
  • Rating 1: 12. Rating 2: 26. Rating 3: 40. Rating 4: 54. Rating 5: 70.
  • Rating 6: 90. Rating 7: 110. Rating 8: 130. Rating 9: 130. Rating 10: 130.
If the guild does not hold the minimum, some systems stop working. The penalties listed are:
  • Rating 1: none.
  • Rating 2: guild naming display not supported.
  • Rating 3: guild naming display not supported and no flags available.
  • Rating 4 to 10: naming display not supported, flags unavailable, Castle Siege not possible as if the proclamation was cancelled, and local tax collection not possible.
The penalty lifts once a new member joins and the minimum is met again.

Guild titles and what each can do
  • Leader: full control of the guild.
  • Sub-Leader: when the leader transfers, the leader's authority passes here.
  • HeadChief: between Sub-Leader and Chief, one guild member per 50 persons.
  • Chief: above OfficialMember, one guild member per 10 persons.
  • OfficialMember: an officially recognised member.
Title changes use the /guild command and can be given as a number instead of a name, for example "/guild level character name 3" instead of "HeadChief". The leader cannot expel the Sub-Leader directly; the Sub-Leader must be changed to Full first. Forced expulsion runs through the "/expulsion" command.

Guild Raid

Guild Raid is entered from My Guild, and it only becomes available once resource donation has raised the raid level to 1 or higher. Resource donation uses Guild Raid Resource Scrolls held by guild members.
  • The guide does not print a per-level resource table. It states only that you must donate resources to raise the raid level to 1 or higher, and that the higher the raid level, the stronger the boss and the higher the reward.
  • A successful summon resets the Guild Raid level to zero.
  • The scrolls are earned as daily quests from the Guild Raid Resource Magic Power Manager in Natootuh Village, and can be exchanged using Piece of Raid resource from fields or dungeons. The exchange is once per day and cannot be reset with an Extra mission letter.
  • Guild Raid runs once a day, or further using Jewels.
  • To summon, the guild needs at least five members. Clicking Raid Start summons the boss in the centre of the raid area after 60 seconds, and it must be killed within 15 minutes to be rewarded.
  • Entry must be through the guild master's summon or the raid area teleport manager. A recall scroll, teleport scroll or Moving Scroll of Location will not let you join.
Guild rank versus guild rating

The Guild Rank page describes a separate ladder from the rating tiers above. Ranking is decided by aggregating the activity points that all guild members earn by taking part in PvP content such as Castle Siege, triangular battle, GVG, Island of the Battle Field and the duel tournament. The rank level is one of Champion, Master, Veteran or Beginner, and a guild with no activity points is not counted in the ranking at all.

Rank rewards are mailed after the season ends and the guild master collects the guild reward. Members who took part in fewer than 5 PvP matches do not receive the rank reward, and the match count rises as activity points are earned.

Common questions

Does the buff stack with other buffs? The guild guide says the buff compensation applies from the moment you join the guild but does not state any interaction with other buff systems, so I would not assume stacking.

Can a guild sit at rating 10 with few members? No. Rating 10 requires 130 members, and dropping below that minimum removes the naming display, flags, Castle Siege and tax collection.

Do the ratings 8, 9 and 10 differ? The capacity column is identical at 130 for all three. The buff column is not identical: rating 8 is EXP +4%, while ratings 9 and 10 are EXP +5%, with attack and HP continuing to rise.

Is guild raid a daily grind? The guide states once a day, with further runs costing Jewels, and the level resets to zero on a successful summon, so the cycle has to be restarted after every success.

Does a failed raid cost the level? The guide only states that a successful summon resets the level to zero, and that the boss must be killed within 15 minutes to be rewarded. It does not say what a failed kill does to the level, so that is unstated.
