Kal Online Dragon Fusing: the Dragon Spirit Scroll, the eight grades, and the stat tables for weapons and armor

Dragon Fusing is one of the item enhancement systems in Kal Online. It lets you raise the total stat value of an item, and the publisher states that even the lowest grade is higher than the base stats. The system runs on a Dragon Spirit Scroll, and the grade you end up with is chosen at random from 1 to 8, with Grade 1 being the highest.

How to fuse a dragon
  • Right click the Dragon Spirit Scroll to open the Dragon Fusing UI.
  • Any equipment item can be fused with a Dragon Spirit.
  • When the fusion is complete, the Dragon Spirit Scroll disappears.
  • Upgrades made on the item before fusion stay in effect.
  • Fusing stays in effect even after a fused weapon has been upgraded to Imperial grade.
  • The item grade varies from 1 to 8 and is randomly chosen.
Weapon grades
The list below runs from Grade 1 down to Grade 8 and gives the attack ranges each grade adds to a weapon, along with the OTP, HP and MP it grants.
  • Imoogi: 1 to 2 percent melee attack, 1 to 2 percent magic attack, random bonus stat plus 1, OTP 2, HP 30, MP 10.
  • Shadow Dragon: 3 to 4 percent melee attack, 3 to 4 percent magic attack, random bonus stat plus 1, OTP 4, HP 50, MP 30.
  • Sky Dragon: 5 to 6 percent melee attack, 5 to 6 percent magic attack, random bonus stat plus 2, OTP 6, HP 70, MP 50.
  • Ancient Dragon: 7 to 8 percent melee attack, 7 to 8 percent magic attack, random bonus stat plus 2, OTP 8, HP 90, MP 70.
  • Storm Dragon: 9 to 10 percent melee attack, 9 to 10 percent magic attack, random bonus stat plus 3, OTP 10, HP 110, MP 90.
  • Violent Dragon: 11 to 12 percent melee attack, 11 to 12 percent magic attack, random bonus stat plus 3, OTP 12, HP 130, MP 110.
  • Thunder Dragon: 13 to 14 percent melee attack, 13 to 14 percent magic attack, random bonus stat plus 5, OTP 15, HP 200, MP 150.
  • Insanity Dragon: 15 to 17 percent melee attack, 15 to 17 percent magic attack, random bonus stat plus 8, OTP 18, HP 250, MP 200.
The Magician exception
  • The additional ability on a Magician weapon is evasion, not OTP. Ancient Dragon gives Eva plus 8 where it would give OTP 8 on another class.
Armor grades
The same eight grades apply to armor, and the defense ranges are grouped by slot.
  • Tops: Imoogi 1 to 2, Shadow Dragon 3 to 4, Sky Dragon 5 to 6, Ancient Dragon 7 to 9, Storm Dragon 11 to 14, Violent Dragon 17 to 21, Thunder Dragon 25 to 30, Insanity Dragon 35 to 40 defense.
  • Bottoms: Imoogi 1 to 2, Shadow Dragon 3 to 4, Sky Dragon 5 to 6, Ancient Dragon 7 to 9, Storm Dragon 11 to 14, Violent Dragon 17 to 21, Thunder Dragon 25 to 30, Insanity Dragon 35 to 40 defense.
  • Helm, Gloves, Boots and Shields: Imoogi 1 to 2, Shadow Dragon 3 to 4, Sky Dragon 5 to 6, Ancient Dragon 7 to 9, Storm Dragon 11 to 14, Violent Dragon 17 to 21, Thunder Dragon 25 to 30, Insanity Dragon 35 to 40 defense.
  • Every armor grade also adds a random bonus stat. The maximum bonus stat per grade is plus 7 on tops, plus 6 on bottoms and plus 5 on helm, gloves, boots and shields.
