Kal Online Destructing Key Points: the 30,000 geon fee, the Tuesday window, the guild matching, and the tower points

Destructing Key Points, usually called DKP, is one of the three Scenario 3 battlegrounds inside the Doggebi Tower training area. GameAgit's guide page for it carries the entry rules, the Tuesday schedule, the guild matching table and the tower point table. The other two Scenario 3 areas, Protecting Leader and Suffering Valley, already have their own topics on this board.

Entry and the Tuesday window
  • Applying costs 30,000 geon and the fee is not refunded even if you are not matched.
  • The scenario needs a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 80 participants.
  • If fewer than 10 guild members are registered, your guild is marked as abstention.
  • Every guild that applies is matched. If matching fails because there are no opponents, nobody receives a reward.
  • Guild registration runs Monday 23:00 to Tuesday 00:00.
  • Guild matching is announced Tuesday 00:00 to 00:10.
  • Member registration runs Tuesday 00:10 to 00:50.
  • The battle itself runs Tuesday 01:00 to 02:00.
  • Only the guild master or a sub-master can apply for the guild and register members, through the Blue Doggebi NPC at the entrance of the Doggebi Tower.
  • Registered characters are summoned automatically five minutes before the match and moved to the waiting area.
Guild matching by grade
  • Champion: guild rank 1 to 10.
  • Master: 11 to 20.
  • Veteran: 21 to 30.
  • Beginner: rank 31 and below.
  • Matching is random between guilds of the same grade. When there is no match in the same grade, a guild is matched with one from a lower grade.
  • Guilds that are not in the guild ranking at all, meaning 0 activity points, are matched with each other.
How the fight plays out
  • The Great Tower stands in the centre of the battle area, each team has a Big Tower on its own side, and Small Towers sit at various points. White Tiger's towers are red and Blue Dragon's are blue.
  • Both teams protect their own towers and try to destroy the enemy ones.
  • After the start you move into the battle area through the Doggebi NPC in each camp.
  • Magic Scrolls, Saving Scrolls of Location and Moving Scrolls of Location cannot be used inside.
  • You cannot trade with enemies or with party members, and you cannot use buff skills.
  • If you die you are moved to the safe zone after 30 seconds and can be revived with a scroll of rebirth or a skill. There is no death penalty.
  • Towers can be upgraded with items, but not while they are under attack. An upgraded tower has more health and gives extra points when destroyed.
  • Upgrade items are bought from the Weapon Artisan NPC in the Village of Narootuh.
  • Only enemy towers can be attacked, and the Giant Tower must be unsealed before anyone can hit it. The team that deals the most damage to the Giant Tower wins points.
Tower points
  • Towers on the left side of your base can be attacked straight away and are worth 2 points each.
  • Towers on the right side of your base open up once one of the left towers is destroyed, and are worth 2 points each.
  • The centre towers open up once one of the right towers is destroyed, and are worth 5 points.
  • The Giant Tower can be attacked once 4 or more small towers are destroyed, and is worth 3 points.
  • An upgraded tower is worth its normal points plus 1.
  • Points are added as soon as a tower falls and the score shows on screen. The team that destroys the most towers wins. If the score is tied, the winner is decided by who destroyed the Giant Tower.
Rewards
  • Killing an enemy character gives 30 points per kill, up to 3,500 points.
  • Destroying a tower gives honor points. The honor points for kills vary by character class.
  • Win: 3,000 honor points. Lose: 200. Withdraw: 1,500.
  • Killing an opponent character is listed as 30x(Class + 1), capped at 3,500.
  • Small Tower: 300 honor points as a personal reward.
  • Giant Tower: 800 honor points as a personal reward.
  • Center Tower: 500 honor points as a personal reward.
  • If you do not reach a certain amount of activity points, the win or lose reward is not paid out.
  • Activity contribution is built from enemy kills, supporting friendly battles, skill use and destroying key points. Enemy kills cap at 3,500 and activity points cap at 3,000.
  • The page's final table maps values 6 to 10 to the ranks Lieutenant, Captain, Major, Colonel and General.
