Kal Online speed-up medicine: the 30 minute speed buff, the sea bream recipe, and the 500 geon fee
Posted: Fri Oct 23, 2026 6:04 am
Quick summary
Kal Online has a speed-up medicine that gives 30 minutes of the speed up skill. It is not sold in any shop, so the only way to get one is to craft it at the chemist NPC. The chain runs through a melting sea bream, and the final step costs 500 geons.
What it does
The medicine increases your movement speed for 30 minutes. The guide describes the effect as Level 3 of the speed up skill. The page says the item was made for the convenience of knights and archers, so they can use the speed up skill whenever they want to.
The crafting chain
Two steps, both at the chemist.
The guide's own materials table lists the melting sea bream as something you get from fighting monsters, which contradicts the crafting step above it, where you receive it from the chemist. The crafting step is the one that works, so treat the materials table entry as a mistake on the page.

Two steps, both at the chemist.
- Hand over 1 sea bream, 1 bamboo keg and 4 demon's blood. The chemist turns them into 1 melting sea bream.
- Bring the melting sea bream back to the chemist and pay 500 geons to receive the speed-up medicine.
- Sea bream: caught through fishery, using a fish trap.
- Bamboo keg: sold by the chemist.
- Demon's blood: dropped by monsters. Demons give it most reliably, but other monsters can drop it too.
