Kal Online Qigong: what the perforation shot does, the eight black magic grades, and the endurance risk
Qigong is the black magic enchantment on Kal Online weapons and armour. It is separate from the Armor Set system, which runs on the Bead of Fire instead, and separate from normal enhancement. If you are deciding between the two, this is the one that adds abilities to the item rather than raising its base grade.
What you are working with
The system uses two items. A perforation shot is dragged onto an item to create the Qigong. A Qigong Talisman is then applied to the item to add one of eight abilities. Both are sold in the item shop and can also be obtained by hunting.
The publisher's description of the ability roll is blunt: one of eight abilities is added at random, and it can be lower than the ability the item already had. Reapplying a Qigong Talisman to an item that already has a black magic ability grants one of the eight again, and it can again come back at a lower grade. There is no way to choose the outcome, and there is no way to lock the current one.
How to create Qigong
1. Drag the perforation shot onto the item you want to enchant.
2. The window opens. A fixing tool and a polishing stone can be used at this step.
3. On success the perforation is marked on the item's tooltip. The perforation shot cannot be used again.
4. On failure, 5 endurance is lost from the item, and the item is destroyed when its endurance reaches 0. Endurance can be repaired with a fixing tool.
That fourth step is the reason to think about which item you use this on. A failure does not refund you, and a long string of failures ends with the item gone.
The eight grades
The weapon table lists melee and magic attack as a percentage range per grade, plus bonus stats, OTP, HP, and MP. On a magician's weapon the extra ability is evasion instead of OTP, and the publisher gives the example of Ancient Dragon granting Eva +8.
Practical notes
The publisher states that the system can be expanded later, so the grade list is what the page publishes and not a ceiling. Everything above comes from the publisher's own guide, and the endurance loss and the item destruction on zero endurance are stated in its instructions rather than inferred.
