Quick summary
KalCash is the virtual currency you spend in the Kal Online Item Shop. The official cash stipulation defines it as three separate things: Gold Kal Cash, Silver Kal Cash, and Kal Point. They are not interchangeable, and the differences decide whether an item can be gifted and which shop you can spend it in.
The three types
- Gold Kal Cash. Refilled by PayByCash or wire transfer. Items bought with it are not bound, and gifting is possible, though the gifted item becomes bound. You pay the original item price, and it only works in the Gold Kal Cash Shop.
- Silver Kal Cash. Refilled by ClickandBuy, PayByCash, wire transfer, or credit card. Items bought with it are bound, gifting is impossible, and prices are cheaper. It only works in the Silver Kal Cash Shop.
- Kal Point. Not purchasable. It is given to you free, items bought with it are bound, gifting is impossible, prices are cheaper, and it only works in the Kal Point Shop. Kal Point expires after 180 days.
The stipulation lists credit card (VISA), PayByCash, ClickandBuy, and wire transfer as the refill methods, and a Kal Online account is required to refill. Payments by credit card, PayByCash, and wire transfer are in USD; ClickandBuy is in euros.
Monthly limits
The official table sets per-month limits by membership level. Gold members have no charging limit and a 4,000 gift limit. Full members cannot charge cash but can buy up to 2,000 and receive up to 2,000 in gifts. Associate members cannot charge cash and can buy up to 1,000.
Rules that catch players out
- KalCash cannot be transferred between accounts. You can gift items, but not the cash itself.
- KalCash left in an account that has not logged into the website for six months is deleted.
- Refunds are only granted in specific cases, such as when nothing was delivered after a purchase or the service ended. Outside those cases, KalCash is non-refundable.
- If the provider cannot identify the payer, or a stolen card is used, the payment can be denied or the membership cancelled.
