The private shop system lets you sell items directly to other players without using the auction house or trade window. It is the main way to move items for yang in Kal Online. This guide covers how to open a shop, set prices, and understand the rules.
What is a private shop
A private shop is a player-run store that opens a shop window. Other players can browse your listed items and buy them directly. You set the price for each item, and the buyer pays that amount in yang.
How to open a private shop
- Click the private shop icon in your interface to start the opening process.
- Click an item you want to sell from your inventory.
- Input the price you want for the item. The price will be shown on the window.
- If you have more than 1 item in that slot, a selection window will appear. Choose which item to sell.
- Click the register button to list the item.
- Click the Name button to give your shop a custom name.
- To change the shop name, click the private shop icon to open the shop list, then click Name.
- To stop selling items, click the private shop icon and click Stop.
- Money is not shown on the item list. Buyers see only the item and the price you set.
- When your private shop is open, you cannot move. You are locked in place.
- Your shop will not cancel even if you are attacked by monsters. You are safe while selling.
- You can sell any item that is not bound or restricted by the game.
- Name your shop clearly. A descriptive name like "Full Set Armor" or "Level 70 Weapons" helps buyers find what they want.
- Check the auction house or trade chat for current prices before listing. Overpriced items will not sell.
- Private shops are best for high-value items where you want to set your own price rather than use the auction house.
- You can keep your shop open while you do other things, as long as you do not move.
