Kal Online boss farming guide: spawn mechanics, summon requirements, and what each boss drops

Boss monsters in Kal Online are some of the most rewarding content in the game. They drop rare items, trinkets, and materials that are difficult to get anywhere else. This guide covers the full boss roster, how each one spawns, what you need to summon them, and what to expect from each fight.

How boss spawning works in Kal Online

Boss monsters in Kal Online fall into two categories. Some are summoned by players using specific items or by completing objectives. Others spawn on a timer in a fixed location. Understanding the difference is key to farming them efficiently.

Summoned bosses require you to gather items or complete tasks before the boss appears. Timer-based bosses spawn automatically after a set period and are available to all players in the area.

Doggebi Lord

The Doggebi Lord is a group mission boss that appears at the top of a tower. It is summoned by collecting eight pieces of Bronze Mirror and placing them in the Stone Monuments. Once summoned, a five-minute ceremony begins, and the boss appears. The Doggebi Lord disappears after 60 minutes if not defeated.

The boss uses various magical attacks including teleporting, area targeting, and summoning guards. It also absorbs Evil Spirit to heal its HP, so players need to coordinate their strategy. This is a group mission that requires multiple players to defeat.

Demon Monster

The Demon Monster is made from demons' corpses. Its right hand works as a whip and its left hand thrusts like a spear. It has a mouth at the center of its chest but no eyes or nose. It has very low intelligence but is extremely powerful and aggressive. It even eats demon workers nearby.

Demon Queen

The Demon Queen controls the Demon Nest. She usually sticks to the Nest but separates from it when she feels threatened. When separated, demon egg production stops. She attacks with tentacles through the subterrain and blossoms flame plants. When attached to the Nest, only her upper body is visible but she can still attack. When separated, she has the upper body of a woman with wings and the lower body and wings of an insect. She flies and rarely goes down to the ground.

E-Mokdo Boss (level 145)

The E-Mokdo Boss is an E-Moogie that earned power from dragons. It appears only when the nails of the dragon kept in four small temples are all destroyed. If all nails are not destroyed, they reappear 60 minutes after the first nail's destruction. The E-Mokdo Boss disappears if not captured within an hour of its appearance.

It uses strong poison and diverse skills. When it detects a bad situation, it hides under the ground and emerges in another region. It can also summon the Ghost of the Dragon at the last moment, which attacks with critical poison. The poison used by the spirit has no known cure.

Dunamic

Dunamic is a summoned monster of I'Lryer that specializes in melee physical attacks. It appears in the Valley of D'evah and the Tower of Priest. Its appearance is as grand as its power.

Cheios

Cheios is another summoned monster of I'Lryer, but it specializes in long-range attacks and area-effective debuff magic. It is the opposite of Dunamic in attack style. It appears in the Valley of D'evah and the Tower of Priest.

Hellish Gatekeeper

The Hellish Gatekeeper torments challengers of the Picture of Hell with severe ordeals. Its decomposed gassy breath is especially powerful, decreasing the appetite of challengers to prevent them from replenishing energy.

Lamia of Hell

The Lamia of Hell is the final boss monster of Picture of Hell_Soo-Ra. It tears its enemy's body into pieces with a large scythe. Its scythe attack stuns the enemy, and it also uses poison explosion.

D'evah's Guardian

D'evah's Guardian is a semi-boss monster of the Valley of D'evah that appears twice a day around the entrance of Tower of D'evah. It strikes down with a big axe, uses a wide-range attack by focusing its power on the axe and striking down, causes damage widely by summoning lightning attacks, and causes stuns by flourishing its axe around. Sometimes it mesmerizes enemies with a yell, reducing their current HP by 90% and causing a stun.

Mautareta

Mautareta means "Sand of death" in the old language. It is a cunning evil spirit that extracts and confiscates the strengths of the land to grow stronger. No matter how rich and fertile the land is, after Mautareta moves in, it turns into desert. It is important to destroy Mautareta within the spirit world because when it feels danger, it changes form to wind and returns to the spirit world. It can also duplicate itself by extracting the strengths of the land.

Shadow of D'evah

Shadow of D'evah is released by D'evah, who is tied at the tower of D'evah. The shadows are implanted with part of his soul and patrol before his invasion of Geumhoryung. The shadow is much weaker than D'evah himself but has high armor and health to patrol continuously.

Master of Dead person

The Master of Dead person is summoned in The Lawless zone of Dead person using three items: Lord of Land, Lord of Winds, and Lord of Water. You need 10 of each item. The summon happens at the Telestone of the Dead in the castle located northwest of The Lawless zone. The Master of Dead person cannot be summoned multiple times at once. You can only summon a new one after defeating the previous one. Defeating this boss gives the best trinket items.

Red/Blue Golem Inquisitor

The Red and Blue Golem Inquisitors are located on Volcanic Island at the Judgement Altar. They do not have color name systems, so all players can challenge them on equal terms. However, they have strong healing abilities and attack power, making them difficult to defeat alone. Cooperation with other players is recommended.

Watcher of the Underworld

The Watcher of the Underworld is located in the Underworld. It does not have a color name system, so all players can challenge it on equal terms. It has strong attack and defense power, so cooperation with another player is necessary.

The Ruler of the Earth

The Ruler of the Earth is hidden in the Land of the Decisive Battle. It appears when you defeat three Guardians of the Earth in a specific area. The Ruler of the Earth is divided into two camps and determines the final victory or defeat for rewards.

Farming tips

For summoned bosses, gather the required items in advance so you can summon the boss as soon as you are ready. For timer-based bosses, learn the spawn times and be at the location before the boss appears. Bring a group for bosses that require multiple players. The Doggebi Lord, Red/Blue Golem Inquisitor, and Watcher of the Underworld are all much easier with a coordinated team.
