Kal Online Warrior Job Tree: Wandering Knight to God of Sword and General

The Warrior is Kal Online's close combat specialist. The class uses two-handed swords for high damage or one-handed swords with a shield for defense. The job tree splits at level 50 into two paths: the Vagabond Swordman line focused on damage, and the Commander line focused on defense and group support.

Class Overview

The Warrior is a male class that specializes in melee combat. Strength is the primary attribute, increasing base damage and accuracy. Health is also important because the Warrior stands in the middle of combat. Agility increases dodge and accuracy, while Wisdom becomes relevant at level 50 and higher when skills require more mana.

Job Progression

The Warrior job tree progresses through the following stages:
  • Wandering Knight (level 1)
  • Apprentice Knight (level 30)
  • Vagabond Swordman (level 50) or Commander (level 50)
  • God of Sword (level 70) or General (level 70)
At level 50, the job change quest lets you choose between the damage path (Vagabond Swordman) and the defense path (Commander). At level 70, each path has its own final job.

Wandering Knight Skills (Level 1 to 30)
  • Lightning Slash (active, level 2, cooldown 1s): A powerful sword attack using wrist control.
  • Sword Power (active, level 15, cooldown 4s): Fires sword power at distant targets and nearby enemies.
  • Pierce (active, level 24, cooldown 5s): Stabs the sword at the target with accuracy correction.
  • Weapon Expert (passive, level 11): Increases attack power.
  • Sober Judgment (passive, level 22): Increases critical rate.
Apprentice Knight Skills (Level 30 to 50)
  • Upward Slash (active, level 35, cooldown 1s): Raises the sword for an upward attack after Lightning Slash.
  • Transcendental Blow (active, level 30, cooldown 4s): Deals damage to the target and nearby enemies.
  • Flashing Slash (active, level 39, cooldown 4s): Deals damage and applies a stun effect.
  • Increasing Concentration (active, level 42, cooldown 3s): Increases on-target point for a short while.
  • Widening Wound (active, level 43, cooldown 1s): A follow-up attack after Upward Slash.
  • Vortex (active, level 45, cooldown 6s): Attacks all nearby enemies with a large swing.
  • Weapon Expert (passive, level 31): Increases attack power.
  • Sober Judgment (passive, level 42): Increases critical rate.
  • Seize The Opportunity (passive, level 47): Increases critical damage.
  • Defense (passive, level 30): Reduces physical damage when wearing a shield and absorbs physical damage by probability.
The Two Level 50 Paths

The Vagabond Swordman path focuses on high damage with two-handed swords. This path gives you extremely high attack power, stunning strikes from a distance, and combinable skills. The final job at level 70 is God of Sword.

The Commander path focuses on defense and group support with a one-handed sword and shield. This path gives you extremely high defense, war cries that increase group stats, the ability to revive another player, small healing for allies, and an intoxicating shield bash. The final job at level 70 is General.

Choosing Your Path

If you want to deal maximum damage and prefer an aggressive playstyle, the Vagabond Swordman to God of Sword path is the right choice. If you want to tank hits and support your group, the Commander to General path fits better. Both paths are viable in PvE and PvP, so pick based on your preferred playstyle.
