Kal Online Guild System: Creation, Ranks, Buffs, and Castle Siege Requirements

Guilds are the core social and competitive structure in Kal Online. A guild unlocks buffs, lets you participate in Castle Siege, and gives you a community for group content. This covers how to create one, how the level system works, and what each rank tier unlocks.

Creating a Guild

You need six players in a party to form a guild. The party leader must be level 30 or higher and have at least 100,000 gold. The entire party needs a combined 60 Contribution Points, which you earn from quest rewards. No one in the party can already be in another guild, and anyone who left a guild in the last three days is blocked from joining a new one.

The creation process is straightforward: talk to the Executive NPC in the Temporary Fort of Geum-Ohee Castle. The party leader chooses a guild name up to 14 characters, and all six members confirm the creation. The party leader becomes the guild leader and the other five become unregistered members.

Guild Ranks and Permissions

Guilds have five positions:
  • Leader (position 1) - full control, can invite, expel, change positions, and manage alliances
  • Sub-Leader (position 2) - can invite and expel regular members, cannot expel the Leader or other Sub-Leaders
  • Chief (position 4) - a middle management role, one per 10 guild members
  • Registered Member (position 5) - full guild privileges
  • Unregistered Member (position 6) - limited privileges, guild name not displayed
The leader can promote or demote members using the /position command. Unregistered members have their guild name hidden and do not contribute guild points. The leader should register new members promptly to maximize the guild's potential.

Guild Levels and Buffs

Guilds level up by accumulating experience and contribution points. Each level increases the member cap and unlocks new features:
  • Level 1: 12 members, no special privileges
  • Level 2: 26 members, guild name display system unlocked
  • Level 3: 40 members, guild flag system unlocked
  • Level 4: 54 members, Guild Battle System, Castle Siege participation, and alliance system unlocked
  • Level 5: 70 members, higher stat buffs
  • Levels 6-10: member cap increases up to 130, buffs scale further
All guild members receive passive buffs just for being in the guild. These buffs scale with guild level:
  • Level 1: +15 physical attack, +15 magic attack, +30 HP, +100 max HP, +1% EXP
  • Level 4: +60 physical attack, +60 magic attack, +120 HP, +400 max HP, +2% EXP
  • Level 7: +105 physical attack, +105 magic attack, +210 HP, +700 max HP, +4% EXP
  • Level 10: +150 physical attack, +150 magic attack, +300 HP, +1000 max HP, +5% EXP
These buffs apply automatically from the moment you join. Higher guild levels also unlock daily reward boxes and attendance compensation.

Guild Maintenance

Guilds must maintain their minimum member count or face penalties. If the member count drops below the guild's level requirement, the guild loses access to its unlocked features until the minimum is met again. For example, a level 4 guild with fewer than 54 members loses access to the Guild Battle System and Castle Siege until it recruits more members.

Contribution points also matter. Members earn contribution points from quests and donate them to the guild to help it level up. When a member is expelled, the guild loses that member's donated experience.

Guild Raids and Castle Siege

At level 4 and above, guilds can participate in Castle Siege, the main weekly PvP event where guilds fight to occupy territory. Guild Raids are separate instanced content that guilds can attempt daily by donating resource scrolls. The higher the raid level, the stronger the boss and the better the rewards.

Guild leaders can form alliances with other guilds through the /ally command, which lasts for a set number of days. Alliances coordinate Castle Siege strategy and share map control.
