Metin2 private shop and offline market: how to sell items while logged out

The private shop system in Metin2 lets you open a player-run stall in the Bazaar to sell items for Yang or Won. The offline market extends that by keeping your shop open after you log out. This covers both systems, the items you need, and how taxes work.

Opening a private shop

You need a Bundle or a Kashmir Bundle. The regular Bundle is sold by the General Store Saleswoman for 500 Yang. The Kashmir Bundle is sold in the Item Shop for 9 Dragon Coins or 50 Dragon Marks.

To open a shop:
1. Unequip all armor.
2. Use the Bundle from your inventory.
3. Enter a shop name.
4. Drag items from your inventory into the shop window.
5. Set a price for each item.
6. Click OK to open.

The regular Bundle gives you 40 slots. The Kashmir Bundle gives you 80 slots, remembers your prices if you reopen, and lets you decorate the shop with different layouts and banners.

Offline market

The offline market keeps your shop open after you log out. To use it, you need a Personal Premium Shop item, which comes from the Premium Shop Random Box and event chests. Once you use it, a status icon appears in the top left showing remaining time.

To manage your offline shop:
1. Open your inventory in the Bazaar.
2. Click the shop management button.
3. Enter your Storekeeper password.
4. You can now add or edit items while standing in the Bazaar, even though the shop itself is "offline."

When the Personal Premium Shop timer runs out, the shop closes automatically. You can still withdraw unsold items and earned Yang. You cannot extend the timer while the shop is open. Close it first, then use a new Personal Premium Shop.

Important rules

- Shops can only be opened in the Bazaar map, at a certain distance from NPCs.
- The total value of items in your shop cannot exceed the maximum Yang you can hold: 1,999,999,999 Yang or 3,000 Won.
- Items sold are taxed 3%. Offline shops are taxed 1%.
- If you are selling an item worth more than 1,999,999,999 Yang, you need to use the secure trade system instead of a shop.
- Price colors help spot deals: grey is under 50k Yang, white is 50k to 500k, yellow is above 500k, blue means priced in Won.

Tips

- The Kashmir Bundle is worth it if you plan to sell regularly. The 80 slots and price memory save time.
- Check the offline shop periodically to restock and withdraw Yang. The shop keeps selling while you are offline, so a full inventory means missed sales.
- Some servers have a premium pass that gives shop perks like no tax, double time, and the ability to teleport to your own shop.
