Kal Online's costume collection system lets you register costumes and weapon costumes to gain stat bonuses. The more items you register, the stronger the bonuses. This guide explains how the system works and how to start filling your collection.

What the collection does

The collection changes your character's appearance through costumes and weapon costumes, and it also affects your abilities. Costumes and weapon costumes are ranked by grade, and registering them applies ability bonuses based on how many you have collected. The combined stats are shown in the collection interface, so you can see at a glance what your registration count is worth.

How to open it

Press ESC to open the full menu and select Collection. The interface has four tabs:
  • Collection list: the costumes you can register.
  • Total collection effects: the combined stat bonuses from everything you have registered so far.
  • Registrable items: the items you can consume to complete a registration.
  • View collection effects: which bonuses are active and which are inactive.
How to register

Select an item in the collection list, choose the item you want to consume from the registrable items tab, and confirm the registration. Each registration adds to your collection count, and the total effects tab updates with the new combined bonuses. You can also select a costume in the list to change which costume type is displayed on your character.

Getting costumes to register

A newer crafting system lets you make normal weapon and armor costumes. You need items dropped by level 70 monsters and items bought with Honor Reward Points, then visit the Treasure Manager NPC to craft. Recipes include weapon costumes like Cherry Blossom and Warlord's, and armor costumes like Masquerade, Blue Formal, and Hanbok. Each craft costs materials plus a zamogeons fee, and the result is a random box from that costume line.

Tips
  • Check the total effects tab before registering. Some bonuses only become active at certain collection counts, so it helps to know which threshold you are aiming for.
  • Weapon costumes and armor costumes each have their own collection effects, so registering both types gives you more bonus lines to work with.
  • The collection UI shows inactive effects too, so you can see what the next registered item will unlock.
