General Missions
The official general-mission guide says general missions can be completed in a short time, are pursued through NPCs in each region, and can award experience or items.
Event and Task Missions
An Event mission is registered automatically when a character is created. Press Q to open the mission window and review information about missions in progress.
Task missions are received from the relevant NPC after the character meets the required level and completes any prerequisite Task. If an expected Task is unavailable, check whether its prerequisite has been completed.
Scenario Quests
The English product overview describes Scenario Quests as shared activities in which hundreds of players can participate. It also says the outcome can dramatically change how gameplay develops on an individual server.
Which Quest Should a Beginner Choose?
Choose a general mission for a short, NPC-directed activity. Follow the automatically registered Event mission for story progression, using the Q mission window to review your progress. The English overview and Korean FAQ provide different official descriptions, so their labels should not be treated as a single interchangeable classification system.
