KAL Online can display the NPC required for an in-progress quest as a red dot on the minimap.
Use the quest window and minimap
- Press M to open the minimap.
- Press Q to open the quest window.
- Select an in-progress quest from the quest list.
- Look for the red dot on the minimap; it marks the NPC you need to find.
Check quest requirements
The official FAQ distinguishes story-related mandatory quests, called ［Incident］ quests in the site's terminology, from general ［Task］ quests. Story-related quests are registered as in progress when a character is created. General quests are received from an NPC after their requirements are met.
A general quest may require both a minimum character level and completion of an earlier quest. If an NPC does not offer the expected quest, check both requirements.
Verify general-quest details
The official general-quest page organizes general quests under region headings and lists their level, NPC, quest name, experience, and reward item. Use that table to verify the relevant region, NPC, and level.
If the requirements are satisfied but the NPC still does not offer the quest, the official FAQ directs players to contact support and provide the server name, character name, intended quest, and the NPC's dialogue.
