Kal Online teleportation and revival: the crow statue save, the two scroll prices, and the group scroll
Kal Online has two separate travel systems that players mix up. One saves where you come back to life, and the other moves you between towns. Both are cheap, both are sold by the same NPC type, and only one of them is per character.

Quick summary:
  • Clicking the crow statue in a village saves your revival point.
  • Your saved revival point is where you come back after a death or a suicide in combat.
  • The default revival point for a new character is Narootuh village.
  • The scroll of teleportation sends you to the town written on the scroll.
  • The individual scroll costs 200 Zamogeon and the group scroll costs 400 Zamogeon.
  • The group scroll moves the whole party, but only the party leader can use it.
Saving your revival point

Each village has a crow statue. Clicking it sets that spot as your revival point, and after that you revive there when you die or take yourself out of a fight. To check where you are set to revive, type the chat command for reviving place.

A character you just made starts with Narootuh village as the revival point, so you do not have to do anything to have one.

The scroll of teleportation

Using a scroll of teleportation takes you back to the village named on the scroll. Two villages have a restriction: the scroll only works from inside the Deva Valley for those two.

The scrolls are sold by the artisan NPC in each village. There are two versions.
  • Individual scroll - 200 Zamogeon. Only the person who uses it moves.
  • Group scroll - 400 Zamogeon. Moves every member of the party including the leader, and only the party leader can use it.
The group scroll is the one worth buying

If you are levelling with a party, the group scroll saves everyone a run back. The price difference is one Zamogeon short of double, and it moves up to the full party rather than one character. The catch is that the leader has to be the one to use it, so agree on who is travelling before anyone clicks.

Where this does not work

The Volcanic Basin battleground is where this bites. Inside it, movement scrolls, teleport scrolls and summon scrolls cannot be used, and the save location list is unavailable as well. If you are counting on a scroll to leave a fight, the battleground rules already say no.

FAQ

Q: Does the crow statue cost anything?
A: No. Clicking it just sets the revival point.

Q: Can I change my revival point as often as I want?
A: The official guide describes clicking the statue as the way to save the point, with no limit stated.

Q: Why did my scroll not work?
A: If you are in the Volcanic Basin battleground, scrolls are blocked there. Otherwise check that the scroll names the town you think it does.

Q: Is the group scroll usable by anyone in the party?
A: No. Only the party leader can use it.

Q: Which NPC sells the scrolls?
A: The artisan NPC in each village.
