Kal Online Watcher's Nest: the level 110 entry, the 100,000 Zamogeon fee, and the once-per-week rule
Quick summary
  • Watcher's Nest is a party dungeon, not a traditional instance dungeon, and it plays under restricted conditions.
  • Only characters level 110 or higher can enter.
  • The entrance fee is 100,000 Zamogeon, and it is deducted from the party leader alone.
  • The boss appears only once every party member has entered the dungeon.
  • You can clear it once per week. A failed attempt lets you make a new dungeon and try again. A successful clear blocks entry until the count resets on Monday at 00:00.
  • Dying or leaving after you enter blocks re-entry for the rest of that attempt.
  • You cannot use medicine or rebirth scrolls inside, and HP recovery scroll effects do not activate.
What the dungeon is

Watcher's Nest sits on the fringes of the snowy mountains, a deep ice cave under endless snow.

The lore attached to it is specific. A general named Baek Seol-ho was executed as a traitor he did not deserve. His blood seeped into the snow, his forsaken spirit wandered the frozen wilderness, and over long years resentment and bitter cold woke his body without decay. He rose again in a towering human form with a frozen breath, warmth faded from the land, and the dead rose as frostbound wraiths. The blizzard keeps going until he is brought down.

That is flavour text and it does not change the mechanics, but it explains why the dungeon is built as it is: cold, tight, and built around a single target.

Entry

You get in through the Dungeon Manager NPC in the Pub of the Giant Bird.
  • Level 110 or higher. Nothing below that gets in.
  • A party. Solo entry is not the design here.
  • 100,000 Zamogeon, taken from the party leader only. Nobody else pays, which matters for a weekly run where the leader might be carrying the cost every time.
The weekly clock

Watcher's Nest can be cleared once per week, and if the attempt fails you can create a new dungeon and try again.

That is the rule that catches people out. A failed run does not burn your week. You only lose the week when you actually clear it. After a successful clear, additional entry is not allowed, and the entry count resets every Monday at 00:00.

So the practical shape of it: wipes are cheap until the boss dies. Once the boss dies, the week is spent.

The boss only appears when the party is complete

The boss monster will only appear once all party members have entered the dungeon.

This is the single most common way a run goes wrong. Someone is in the dungeon, the timer is running, and the boss is nowhere because one person is still standing at the entrance NPC or is stuck in a loading screen. Get everyone in before you commit to anything.

The boss uses a very powerful character-targeting ground AoE skill. That is the attack to watch for, and the reason the medicine restrictions below matter as much as they do.

What you cannot use inside
  • All medicine. That includes doggebi pills, battle potions and cooking items.
  • Scrolls of rebirth.
  • HP recovery scroll effects, such as Scroll of HP Absorption. They will not activate at all.
Bring what you need before you enter. Once you are inside, the only recovery you get is whatever your class does on its own.

Death and leaving

If you die or leave after entering Watcher's Nest, re-entry will not be allowed.

That applies to the whole attempt. It does not reset if the party leader recreates the dungeon, and it does not reset on a relog. Anyone who goes down or disconnects is out for that run, which is why the pre-entry checklist is worth doing properly the first time.
