Kal Online Kal Pass: the daily and monthly missions, how many points you can earn, and how the pass resets
Quick summary
  • Kal Pass awards points for missions and gives a reward at each accumulated stage.
  • The Normal pass is free. A paid premium pass adds extra paid rewards.
  • The pass period runs from the 1st to the last day of the month, whatever type of pass you hold. When it ends, all points, rewards and acquisition history are reset.
  • Daily missions can earn up to 100 points a day and reset at 00:00.
  • The mission list covers attendance, potion use, monster kills, Infinite Tower, fishing, mining, cooking and purchases.
  • The Kal Pass icon in the menu bar blinks when rewards are waiting.
How Kal Pass works

Kal Pass is the monthly progression track. You earn points by completing missions that are updated on the 1st of every month, and each stage of accumulated points unlocks a reward. You open it through the Kal Pass icon in the menu bar, and the icon blinks when there are rewards you have not claimed yet.

The window has two tabs: a reward tab and a mission tab. The pass period is the same for both pass types, running from the 1st to the last day of the month, and everything resets when the period ends. Points, unclaimed rewards and your acquisition history do not carry over.

Daily missions

Daily missions reset every day at 00:00. The official page lists these:
  • Attendance, 1 time, 20 points
  • Use Potion, 50 times, 20 points
  • Subduing Monsters, 50 times, 20 points
  • Completed Daily mission, 5 times, 20 points
  • Completed Infinite Tower, 1 time, 20 points
  • Fishing, 5 times, 20 points
  • Mining, 5 times, 20 points
  • Cooking, 5 times, 20 points
  • Purchase item with Zamogeons, 10 times, 20 points
  • Purchase Item with Jewels, 1 time, 20 points
The page lists a daily total of 200 points and also states that you can earn up to 100 points every day in daily missions. Treat the list above as the mission list and the 100 point figure as the cap, and check in game which limit applies to your pass.

Monthly missions

Monthly missions reset when the season changes. The official page lists these:
  • Attendance, 10 times, 100 points
  • Subduing Monsters, 1000 times, 100 points
  • Use Potion, 1000 times, 100 points
  • Completed Daily mission, 100 times, 100 points
  • Completed Infinite Tower, 10 times, 100 points
  • Completed Scenario (Destructing Key Points, Protecting Leader, Suffering Valley), 5 times, 100 points
  • Completed Triangular Battle, 5 times, 100 points
  • Completed Castle siege, 2 times, 100 points
  • Completed Battle Field, 2 times, 100 points
  • Completed Duel Tournament, 2 times, 100 points
  • Fishing, 100 times, 100 points
  • Mining, 100 times, 100 points
  • Cooking, 100 times, 100 points
  • Purchase item with Zamogeons, 100 times, 100 points
  • Purchase Item with Jewels, 10 times, 100 points
  • Try to enhance Weapons, Armor or Accessories, 50 times, 100 points
The monthly list is where the large point totals come from. Monster kills, potion use and daily mission completions all have high repeat counts, so the routine play you are already doing covers most of them.

Getting the most out of a pass

Attendance appears in both the daily and monthly lists, which makes logging in every day the cheapest points available. Fishing, mining and cooking are the three professions on the monthly list, and each also appears daily, so they stack. Enhancement attempts count toward the monthly total as well, which means upgrading gear feeds the pass while you work on your character.

The jewel purchase entry is worth a look if you are deciding whether the premium pass is worth it for you, since the paid rewards sit on top of the free Normal pass rewards rather than replacing them.
