Kal Online crashes and dismount glitches: the October 15 2026 client fixes and the Thursday maintenance window

If the game closes without warning, or your character ends up under the floor after you dismount, you are not the only one. GameAgit's October 15 2026 patch note lists both problems and shipped fixes for them in the same maintenance window. This post goes through what the note actually changed and how to tell a client problem from a scheduled server one.

What the October 15 2026 patch changed

The official update notice lists three client fixes. Characters would clip into the ground when dismounting the battle horse, an intermittent issue. Character motions would occasionally appear out of sync between different game clients. And an issue causing intermittent game crashes has been fixed.

Alongside those, the note covers two backend items. The anti-cheat and anti-fraud systems were advanced further, and the user data consistency verification logic was improved. The same note also flags the Immortal Relic Chest update, which the event board runs from October 15 to October 22 2026.

The maintenance window that looks like an outage

Kalonline runs regular server maintenance every Thursday from 09:40 to 11:40 KST, which is GMT+9. The official notice for October 15 repeats the same hours, and it warns that intermittent web page access may not be possible during that window. If the site will not load or the launcher sits on a connection error on a Thursday morning, that is the most likely explanation.

Working out whether it is you or the server
  • If the whole site is unreachable and it is Thursday between 09:40 and 11:40 KST, wait for maintenance to end rather than reinstalling anything.
  • If the crash started right around the October 15 patch, the client update is worth checking. GameAgit publishes the client download page for a clean reinstall.
  • If it only happens on the battle horse, that is the specific bug the patch targeted, and a dismount in a different spot is a useful test.
  • If characters look out of sync to you but fine to everyone else, the motion fix in the same note is the relevant one.
