Hero Emblem is a collection system with eight emblems. You exchange Emblem Fragments plus one Emblem Engraving Stone with So-yeon in the Village of Narootuh to get each emblem. Fragments come from bosses and other content, and each fragment is account bound. Registering emblems grants collection effects at 1, 3, 6, 10, 15, 20, and 30 pieces.[2]
What each emblem costs
Every emblem costs the same second material, one Emblem Engraving Stone. The Engraving Stone is sold by the Wandering Honor Merchant NPC and is bound to your character.[2]
Fragment costs differ between emblems:[2]
- Shadow Hunter's Emblem: 500 Shadow Hunter's Emblem Fragments
- Slayer's Emblem: 400 Slayer's Emblem Fragments
- Brilliant Fortune Emblem: 300 Brilliant Fortune Emblem Fragments
- Tower of Honor Emblem: 200 Tower of Honor Emblem Fragments
- Dragon Hunter's Emblem: 100 Dragon Hunter's Emblem Fragments
- Golem Inquisitor's Emblem: 80 Golem Inquisitor's Emblem Fragments
- The Land of the Decisive Battle Emblem: 80 The Land of the Decisive Battle Emblem Fragments
- General Wanli Taesan's Emblem: 80 General Wanli Taesan's Emblem Fragments
Five of the eight fragments are tied to a specific boss and are awarded based on damage contribution, so a low-damage run can yield nothing:[2]
- Shadow Hunter's Emblem Fragment: defeating Shadow of D'evah
- Golem Inquisitor's Emblem Fragment: defeating Red/Blue Golem Inquisitor
- Dragon Hunter's Emblem Fragment: defeating Ghost of Dragon
- The Land of the Decisive Battle Emblem Fragment: defeating Ruler of the Earth
- General Wanli Taesan's Emblem Fragment: defeating General Wanli Taesan
- Slayer's Emblem Fragment: a low chance to drop from Lv.100+ monsters
- Tower of Honor Emblem Fragment: a low chance to drop from the Tower of Honor monsters
- Brilliant Fortune Emblem Fragment: obtained from Special Sale Items
Collection effects
Registering emblems grants effects at seven thresholds: 1, 3, 6, 10, 15, 20, and 30 pieces. Each tier gives one random item from the available effect categories. The list covers the base stats, then the combat stats (PVP ATK, PVP DEF, PVE ATK, PVE DEF), then their percentage variants and the evasion rates, with EXP added at the 30 piece tier.[2]
Practical notes
The three cheapest emblems all cost 80 fragments, and all three of those fragments are boss drops awarded on damage contribution. They are the realistic first targets if you are starting the collection.[2]
The expensive ones are the damage-contribution bosses and the Slayer fragment. Slayer's 400 fragments at a low drop rate from Lv.100+ monsters is the longest grind on the list.[2]
