Kal Online Archer job tree: Wandering Archer to God of Bow, skills at each stage

The Archer is one of the most distinctive classes in Kal Online. Built around swiftness and long-range damage, the class rewards good positioning and punishes players who get caught in melee. This guide walks through the full job progression, what each stage unlocks, and how to build your character along the way.

Class identity

Archers are members of the Chung-Song troop, still fighting against the demons. They are known for compact muscles, brown skin, and swiftness. Their sharp arrowheads blink, and when they blink, enemies fall. The class is unique in that all staid people are formed by female characters.

The Archer's core identity is simple: deal damage from range, avoid getting close, and rely on allies for protection when things go wrong.

Job progression: six stages

The Archer job tree has six stages. Each one unlocks new skills and changes how the class plays.

1. Wandering Archer

This is where every Archer starts. The defining trait is swiftness combined with long-ranged attack. You have the basic toolkit to start dealing damage from a distance, but you are fragile and need to learn positioning.

2. Apprentice Archer

The second job adds more powerful long-ranged attacking ability. Your damage output increases noticeably, but you still need allies' protection. The Apprentice stage is where you start to feel the class's potential, but also its limitations.

3. Imperial Commander

This is a turning point. The Imperial Commander gains skills that decrease enemies' damage and enervate them. You are no longer just a damage dealer. You can weaken enemies before your team engages, which makes you valuable in both PvP and PvE.

4. Expert Archer

The Expert Archer has more powerful long-ranged attacking ability than the Apprentice, but also needs more allies' protection. The damage scales up, but so does the responsibility to stay alive. This is the stage where positioning really matters.

5. Imperial General

The Imperial General gains multiple targeting assault skills and can shoot massive arrows quickly into a targeted area. This is where the class starts to shine in group content. You can hit multiple enemies at once, which makes you a strong addition to any party.

6. God of Bow

The final job stage. The God of Bow has the ability to kill each unit of enemy with each arrow. This is the peak of the Archer's damage potential. You become a long-range assassin who can eliminate priority targets quickly.

Stat priorities

Archers need a balance of agility, health, and strength. A common starting point:
  • Start with agility to 90. This is your primary stat and affects your damage and evasion.
  • Put health to 70 next. Archers are fragile, and the extra health keeps you alive in PvP.
  • Add strength to 50 after that. Strength gives you a damage boost and helps with survivability.
  • After the base allocation, invest in either health or strength depending on your playstyle. Strength is generally recommended for more damage.
The end goal is roughly: AGI 90, STR 50, Health 70, then continue into STR or HP based on whether you want more damage or more survivability.

Playstyle tips
  • Stay at range. Your damage falls off dramatically in melee.
  • Use your mobility to reposition. Archers are fast, so use that to create distance from melee classes.
  • In PvP, focus on squishy targets first. Your burst damage can eliminate priority targets before they react.
  • In PvE, stick with your party. You need tanks to hold aggro while you deal damage.
  • The Imperial Commander's damage reduction skills are underrated. Use them before your team engages, not during.
