Kal Online's world is populated by dozens of monster types spread across different level ranges. Knowing what spawns where helps you plan your leveling route, avoid unnecessary deaths, and farm the right mobs for your level. This guide covers the low-level demon monsters (levels 1 to 29) that new players encounter first.
Low class demons (levels 1 to 29)
The lowest tier of monsters in Kal Online belongs to the demon family. They are described as slaves with no will of their own, serving as weapons makers, battle spearheads, and helpers for the mother demon's parturition. They spawn in the starting areas and are the first combat experience for new characters.
Here is the breakdown of low class demon monsters by level:
- Demon Vulcan (Level 1): The weakest demon monster. Found in the earliest starting zones. Good for the first few levels.
- Demon Scout (Level 2): Slightly tougher than the Vulcan. Also found in starting areas.
- Demon Spearhead (Level 3): A melee fighter that hits harder than the Scout. Common in low-level zones.
- Demon Plunderer (Level 4): Another low-level melee demon. Drops basic crafting materials.
- Wild Small Demon (Level 5 to 6): A variant that appears in slightly higher zones. Two versions exist at levels 5 and 6.
- Wild Demon Spearhead (Level 7): The wild variant of the level 3 Spearhead. Found in the same zones as the Wild Small Demon.
- Wild Demon Escort Soldier (Level 8): A ranged demon variant. Two versions exist at levels 8 and 15.
- Wild Demon Escort Archer (Level 8): Another ranged variant that accompanies the Escort Soldier. Also has two versions at levels 8 and 15.
- Demon Scout Commander (Level 9): A stronger version of the level 2 Scout. Acts as a mini-boss in some zones.
- Wild Suicide Bomber (Level 10): A dangerous variant that explodes on death. Two versions exist at levels 10 and 13. Keep your distance or kill it from range.
- Wild Demon Plunderer (Level 12): The wild variant of the level 4 Plunderer. Found in mid-level zones.
- Wild Demon Escort Soldier (Level 15): The stronger version of the level 8 Escort Soldier.
- Wild Demon Escort Archer (Level 15): The stronger version of the level 8 Escort Archer.
- Stay in your level range: Monsters more than 5 levels above you deal significantly more damage and are harder to kill. Monsters more than 5 levels below you give reduced experience.
- Watch for Suicide Bombers: The Wild Suicide Bomber (levels 10 and 13) explodes on death, dealing area damage. If you are melee, back off immediately after killing it. Ranged classes can kill it from a safe distance.
- Group up for Commander mobs: The Demon Scout Commander (level 9) has more health than regular mobs. It is faster and safer to kill with a party.
- Use the right damage type: Demons are weak to certain damage types. Check your skill descriptions and match your damage type to the monster's weakness for faster kills.
